Arbor School OJT Program allows our students to defer graduation for one year to gain additional work skills leading toward competitive employment post-graduation. Students work full-time at a local community partner site for one year to gain work experience and soft skills to be successful employees.
Students who wish to participate in Arbor School OJT must meet the following criteria:
- Have all the necessary credits to graduate
- Be under the age of 22
- Be able to work toward independent transportation (i.e., Lynx Access or Sunrail)
- Have no severe behaviors that would prohibit successful training
- Commit to one full school year (August - June)
