A Sensory-based Approach

All classrooms at The Arbor School are set up to meet the needs of the students with:

  • Fitness-ball chairs
  • Bean bags
  • Floor-friendly tables
  • Space to stand
  • Quiet spaces (including outdoor garden)
  • Natural lighting

Lessons often take place outside with the kids walking, jumping, or sitting quietly near our campus garden. By allowing our students to learn in a more natural and comfortable environment, they experience growth and progress not seen in other programs.
